That it was Mike who took over Cwm Farm when our daddy - Bill Bayley retired was a wonderful outcome. Mike knew the cows, knew when the sheep wanted to move to fresh grass, and the sheep dogs were his allies, and Blackie the cat his friend. Our parents knew the farm and the animals were all in good hands. Afterall, Mike had lived and worked at Cwm for many years with our Daddy.
We have always visited Mike and Ivy at Cwm Farm whenever in Wales. Going to Cwm has always been our sentimental experience. We thank Mike and Ivy for their attachment to the farm. Farewell Mike.

Mike was a very faithful member of Llanaelhaearn Church. He became Church Warden and read the Lessons in the English Services. Attending Saint Aelhaearn was very important to him. He gave me full support and it was a pleasure to have known Mike.
